ESG Consulting for Strategy, Performance & Compliance

Building Sustainable Businesses, Built to Last

Expert ESG consulting for organisations seeking stronger performance, compliance and long-term value.

Kenya’s sustainability reporting landscape has shifted from voluntary to mandatory. ICPAK’s Sustainability Reporting Readiness Assessment window has now closed, and Public Interest Entities that submitted are moving into the next phase: closing the gaps the assessment surfaced, building the governance, data and risk infrastructure IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 require, and preparing for mandatory reporting from 1 January 2027. For organisations that missed the window, or that completed it and are now facing the harder question of what to do with the findings, the work ahead is the same – build genuine ESG capability, not another document.

Most organisations already have ESG documents: a policy, a set of aspirational commitments, perhaps a sustainability statement. Few have ESG capability – the strategy, governance, risk management, data systems and KPIs that let an organisation actually manage sustainability performance and produce disclosures that will withstand assurance. We work with Kenyan businesses, financial institutions and Public Interest Entities to close that gap.

Our ESG Strategy, Performance & Advisory Services

What We Help You Do

We help you build an ESG programme that is practical, defensible, and capable of delivering measurable results.

ESG Readiness & Gap Analysis

An objective view of where your organisation stands against IFRS S1 and S2, GRI and other applicable frameworks — governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics & targets — tested against what would actually hold up under external assurance, not just whether a policy exists.

ESG Strategy Development & Implementation

The gap between having a strategy and operationalising one. We help you move from stated priorities to an implemented programme: objectives, ownership, policies, budgets, KPIs and a realistic roadmap sequenced against your reporting obligations and internal capacity.

Materiality & Stakeholder Engagement

Materiality assessments, including double materiality, that produce a defensible, evidenced view of which ESG issues are financially and operationally significant to your business — tracing the line from stakeholder input through to strategic response, ownership and disclosure.

ESG Risk Integration

Bringing climate and ESG risk into your existing enterprise risk management framework rather than running it as a parallel exercise. This includes physical and transition climate risk, climate scenario analysis, and translating ESG exposures into the language your board and risk committee already use.

ESG KPIs, Metrics & Dashboards

Defining what to measure and why: objective, KPI, baseline, target, data source, owner, reporting frequency. Built to support both internal decision-making and the metrics & targets disclosures required under IFRS S1/S2.

ESG Governance & Operating Model Design

What has to change inside your organisation for ESG to function as normal management, not a side project — board oversight, committee structures, roles, policies, data ownership and review cycles.

Board & Capacity Building

Practical support for boards and management taking on ESG oversight responsibility for the first time, including training aligned to governance expectations under IFRS S1.

We balance the books and your growth together.
